I am an integrative therapeutic counsellor specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a foundation of person-centred therapy. CBT can help identify negative thoughts and behaviour patterns allowing you to make gradual changes to break the pattern/cycles. CBT can help with a range of mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression and stress. Person centred therapy gives you a space to be heard and to be supported through major life changes such as bereavement, loss, redundancy, being a carer, etc. I work integratively so I can use whichever therapy is most helpful for you. Our first session will be an assessment where we explore what issues you’d like to work on and agree how we can work together so that therapy is tailored to your needs.
I am an experienced Therapeutic Counsellor and Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I provide face to face counselling from the Consulting Centre at Branksome, near Poole in Dorset. Sessions are 50 minutes duration and I can work with you short term (6 sessions) or for as many sessions as you want with regular reviews.
