Helen Rice MA MSc MBACP Relationship Therapist & Psychotherapist

As a Specialist Relationship Therapist offering over 10 years of specific experience in this area, and a foundation in Psychology, general Psychotherapy & Life Coaching, I work effectively with individuals, couples and family groups to gain self awareness, understanding and mastery over personal, relationship & sexual difficulties.

I place the quality of the relationship between myself and my clients at the heart of our work together, offering neutrality and non-judgement to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone – no matter what they are dealing with.  Clients are helped to see the very personal barriers that have been in the way of having the life and relationships they want, and what it will take to achieve their goals. Seeing the limitations for what they are, allows real, lasting and transformative change to happen – naturally and with ease.

My clients come from all walks of life and include those in professional sports, music & media, politics, science and business. They are based in Dorset, London & overseas. I have commented extensively on relationship matters for Metro, Daily Mail YOU, Tesco  & Psychologies magazines among others.

My training and experience is unrivalled, with academic study supported by supervised practical experience ongoing since 1993.  MSc Applied Psychology (University of Surrey), Counselling & Psychotherapy (University of London), MA Relationship Therapy (University of Hull, with Relate), and personal development coaching (Landmark Education & work-based training). This means I can draw on a wide range of ideas and techniques to support each client to find a way of working that best suits them. I am available for face-to-face sessions at the Consulting Centre, Branksome, Poole and online via Zoom.  Home visits can be arranged (variable fees).
